Det var ikke direkte brukermedvirkning under utarbeidingen av hovedprosjektet. Imidlertid har det vært brukermedvirkning underveis i flere del-prosjekt. Blant annet har vi hatt intervju med lærerne i en pilotstudie om klasseromsbelysningens effekt på søvn og konsentrasjon. Vi har også gjennom kurs og foredrag diskutert problemstillingen ungdom og søvn med både helsesøstre og ungdom selv, diskusjoner som har hatt direkte påvirkning på utformingen av studien.
