The end-users of this project are the authorities (public health), health care service providers (microbiological laboratories and infection control departments), physicians, and patients. Key personnel involved in the implementation of WGS for routine purposes at the Department for Medical Microbiology at SUS, the head of the department, who is also infection control doctor, are involved in the planning and the implementation of this project.
