Alexandra Havdahl spent 4 months abroad. Two months were spent at the University of Bristol, Bristol, UK, to collaborate with Professor George Davey Smith and Neil Davies and strengthen her network of collaborators in Bristol. The stay added significant value to the project both in terms of strengthening the quality of the ongoing analyses, increased number of publications, network building and career development. Havdahl also spent two months at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) on invitation from Professor Catherine Lord, to collaborate on papers in MoBa-Preg and the Lancet Commission on the Future of Autism Care and Research. The work produced, experience gained, and membership of a Lancet Commission provided substantial value to the project and Havdahl's career development.
