Dette prosjektet vart planlagd allereie i 2011, før brukarmedverknad i forsking sto så sentralt på dagsorden som det gjer i dag. Vi har difor ikkje gjennomført ei fullverdig brukarinvolvering i alle ledd i prosjektet, slik vi ville gjere og har gjort på prosjekt som kom til etter at vi utvikla denne metodekompetanse tydelegare. Imidlertid har prosjektet hatt konsultativ brukarmedverknad i planlegginga, og i gjennomføringa av prosjektet har prosjektet vore knytt til Forskingsgruppe for psykisk helse og rus, i Helse Førde. Denne gruppa har organisert ei medforskargruppe som kan rådgi forskingsprosjekt i gruppa løypande, men som er knytt spesifikt til eit anna fokalprosjekt.
