Prosjektet benytter hovedsakelig data fra 2009-2010, hvor brukermedvirkning ikke var planlagt som en del av prosjektet med sjekklistebruk på operasjonsstuene. Imidlertid har nye prosjekter (innovasjonsprosjekt og forskningsprosjekt) som utgår fra dette kvalitetsprosjektet inkludert pasientrepresentanter og brukere medvirket i utvikling og videreføring av sjekklistebruk for pasienter i hele det kirurgiske forløpet.
